Finger Plate

Holding small components for drilling can be a problem and a vice is not always the answer. This is where a Finger Plate can be most useful.  The Finger Plate consists of a 2 1/2" square base on which the work is placed. The Finger then clamps the work in place to drill, tap or mill over any of the 3 recesses in the base.   Also included in the design is a "dead-on" cross drilling jig, accepting drill bushes up to around Ø1/8".   

An extremely useful work-holding device for small, irregular items - long known by clock and watch makers.
