The Small Precision Boring Head, designed by Mr. G. H. Thomas, is without doubt a superb tool and judging by the many kits we sell, a very popular accessory.
Suitable for bores up to approximately Ø2" this tool can be run from either the lathe or mill. Machined entirely from steel, well balanced and suitable for high speed working. Feed screw - 40 t.p.i., fitted with a zero setting index. The large feedscrew dial is calibrated to show diameter (in 0.001"s) rather than radius.
Our kit includes drawings, construction notes, steel, fasteners, and the a hardened and ground arbor, threaded for a 3/8" BSW draw bar. Please sellect MT2 or MT3 from the drop down list.
